Up to 7

So as February is halway through, another 3 topple off my list. First and probably the most pleasing onw, is that after a number of attempts I have finally managed to pass my driving test, not going to lie, it was a hassle, a pain at times and frankly, I'm so glad it's now off the list.

Secondly, I rented the film Avatar and sat down to watch it, can't say I got the hype, but it was a good enough watch, certainly worth another watch, can't help but think it would have been a lot better in 3D, shame I was too lazy to see it several years ago. The 3rd task, 7th overall, was that I helped a charity organisation. Now I only just realised I had done this, but on a Friday, I occasionally help out with the local scouting group. Having been a Scout for a long time, I actually felt it was time to maybe repay the leaders who run it, I also only found out that the Scouts are a registered charity, so in a roundabout sort of way, I inadvertantly helped a charity organisation and actually enjoyed doing it.

3 More completed, it's been a fun month.

So with January came the start of normal life again, back to uni, grafting away, so time was limited. That said, I managed to complete 3 more tasks and begin several others. The first to be done, was, when I got a free weekend, nothing to do, I sat down, dusted off the old extended boxset, drinks on standby and watched all the LOTR movies back to back. Only took me 11 and a half hours, but after 2 litres worth of soft drinks, 2 bags of winegums, a very tasty steak and kidney pie for team and 4 trips to the toilet, I finished it.

But of course every thing needed to be perfect, so I took it upon myself to create a wonderful  throne of comfort.

Of course for some reason, I forgot to switch all means of communications and had to briefly leave my seat, 'fool of a took indeed'.

As for the other 2, easy ones, took it upon myslef in the pub one day to try a pint of Guiness, I regret to say I won't be trying it again, not for my tastes, I'll stick to the lager. The other, was simply done by mistake, feeling ill one day, I fell asleep really early in bed, I forgot about that challenge, so whilst looking at my list, I was surprised to see I'd acheived another one. Liek I also said, there are seeveraly others underway, jigswaw, etc.

Oh yes, and I have my driving test in a couple of days, be good to get that out the way.

Number 1 complete

Well, the first of the 50 tumbles, if I;m honest it was an easy one, subscribe to a magazine. Well I'm a football fan, I've never been one to buy a magazine every time on comes out, but for the purposes of this I have subscribed to Four Four Two for the year, hopefully it is well worth the read.

It's just a shame the first issues arrived with fergie's ugly mug on it. Oh well, I am currently at 1/50 if I keep up at this rate, I'll manage it. :D  I also have several others underway.

The start of something new, who knows where this will go

Right, I'll start by explaining how this is going to work. So there it is my 50 things to do for the year, I should achieve most of them  and hopefully anyone who reads this might be encouraged to do the same, I would like to think if I even inspire one person to try something new then it will have been a success. Also it will be a laugh, which is the first steps to achieving number 50 on the list.

Hope you enjoy reading.
